Horse-Assisted Interventions
We accompany you to understand, manage and transform what you feel, with the help of the horse, in a natural and welcoming environment.
We accompany you to understand, manage and transform what you feel, with the help of the horse, in a natural and welcoming environment.

At Horseway we believe that some things can only be understood with the body, in silence, in relation to another living being.
And the horse, with its sensitivity, presence and honesty, offers us that mirror that we often don’t find in formal settings.
Here there are no desks or fixed diagnoses: there is earth, movement, connection and listening.
We accompany you to (re)connect with what is essential through therapeutic experiences that start from respect and the potential of the human-animal bond.
These interventions are designed for you, who perhaps:
They can also be useful for people with ASD, ADHD, communication difficulties or processes of grief.
Through the bond with the horse and in a safe environment, you can experience real and lasting improvements:
You can also strengthen attention, concentration, autonomy and social skills, as well as overcome blocks related to learning or relationships with others.
It’s a process built step by step, but whose effects are noticed —and gradually integrated into your daily life.

Our sessions combine therapeutic support and bodily experience in contact with the horse.
We always start with a welcome and agree on the framework: what brings you here today? what do you want to work on or explore?
Afterwards, we bring the horse, prepare it together and engage in an adapted activity: it can be a walk, an object-based exercise, free observation or a specific proposal according to your objective.
We finish with a short verbal or symbolic integration of what was experienced.
It’s not about “achieving something” in a session, but about allowing something to open.
Social educator, anthropologist and specialist in horse-assisted interventions, Susanna has been leading the therapeutic sessions at Horseway for more than 8 years.
Throughout her career she has accompanied dozens of children, young people and adults in processes of personal, emotional and educational transformation through the bond with the horse.
She is co-director of the Master’s in Horse-Assisted Therapies at the University of Girona, and has collaborated with various educational, social and health centers in the development of assisted intervention programs.
Her approach combines a solid professional foundation with a special sensitivity for the rhythm of each person and of the horse. In her sessions, respect, presence and listening are always the starting point.
The ethology of the horse allows work on multiple aspects due to its sensitive and receptive nature.
Its ability to reflect the human emotional state facilitates the identification and overcoming of emotional blockages, ingrained fears and resistance to change.
